Amoon Nathaniel was just 15 years old when he and his father stood on the roof of the presbytery, watching their church burning. The feeling of helplessness and sense of danger left him in tears. The next day Amoon and his fellow parishioners rallied around to begin to repair their church. “They were all crying and upset”, he said, “but they were determined not to be defeated by their fear.”

This event was the turning point in Amoon's life - he wanted to do something important to help his community and help grow their faith - and he knew he wanted to be a priest.

Distressingly, there is a high level of religious tension in Pakistan. However, seminarians such as Amoon are studying to become pastoral leaders in their communities, as priests are often the conduit between the people and the government.

To ensure young men, like Amoon, are able to follow their calling and become priests, they need support and guidance through their years at the seminary.

Below are some examples of how you can help today:

$25 covers the cost of educational, medical and living costs for one seminarian for three weeks.

$100 covers the salary for three teaching staff members at a seminary in Pakistan for one week.
