I just became a Leaders for Life partner

Leaders for Life is Catholic Mission's regular giving program supporting the training of young church leaders and their work within their communities. (non-tax-deductible)

Church leaders like priests, nuns and brothers are the arms of the church reaching out to people in the love of Christ, and often represent the only support that marginalised and impoverished communities receive.

These church leaders build foundations through which Catholic Mission reaches out to ensure the physical and spiritual development of people.

By supporting our Leaders for Life program from as little as $32 a month, you can provide much needed help to seminarians on their journey to the priesthood, as well as support dedicated noviciate nuns and brothers in their training.

As a Leaders for Life partner, four times a year you will receive a newsletter from us, sharing the inspirational stories of this new generation of church leaders in their journeys of faith.

Please note that this is a non-tax-deductible regular giving program, as per the Australian Tax Office’s (ATO) Overseas Aid Gift Deduction Scheme (OAGDS), according to which projects supporting evangelistic or pastoral activities are non-tax-deductible. Below are some examples of projects that you will be supporting if you choose to make a non-tax-deductible** regular donation to the Leaders for Life program.

Your non-tax-deductible gifts will help Catholic Mission raise the essential funds which will train new church leaders and enable them to run life-changing projects which benefit the whole community, including the children, their families and their nations.

Examples of projects include:

Training of seminarians and priests

Training of novices and nuns

Constructing and repairing seminaries

Purchasing and repairing outreach vehicles

I would like to support the Leaders for Life program with a monthly non-tax-deductible gift of:**

$32 your monthly donation will cover the costs of clothing, shoes and toiletry for one seminarian in Peru for one month.

$38 your monthly donation pays the salary of one formation staff, whose teaching is crucial in spiritually preparing young seminarians for priesthood, in a seminary in Uganda for one month.

$68 your monthly donation will pay the tuition fees for one out of four subjects for one seminarian in Papua New Guinea for one month.
